RFID Tags
Our tags give each asset a unique identifier. Radio frequency tags have a read range from a few inches to several feet. This encapsulation design allows the tag to be placed directly on all metal surfaces and endure abusive wear and tear, extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, high pressure wash downs, and all weather conditions, ensuring that the tags will survive the rigors of the drilling industry.

The RigMS Preventative Maintenance Management application enables you to efficiently apply your maintenance requirements to your fleet assets with a system that catalogs specific asset procedures, logs and reports operational data, and automatically schedules and creates maintenance work orders. The open architecture of the RigMS database allows you to attach related documents, including schematics, pictures, maintenance manuals/schedules, warranty and certification information, and even bills of materials to any asset to create a complete asset profile and maintenance history.

Maintenance procedures and requirements for every asset are available to the people who need them, either via the web or on the handheld computer. RFID Tags for Subsea Assets

NOV M/D Totco has met these demands for subsea use at working pressures over 5,000 psi. While RFID is the optimal solution, RigMS does not require RFID tags to operate. Other methods of identifying assets are also supported.
