NOV M/D Totco’s RigConnect Self-Aligning Satellite Dish Antenna System is a self-deploying mobile satellite antenna designed for use with NOV M/D Totco’s WellData and Voice over IP internet data and communication services anywhere in North America. The NOV M/D Totco RigConnect System was specifically engineered for a harsh environments and designed to operate in temperatures as cold as -40°C and winds up to 65 mph. Sensitive components and moving parts are all sealed to NEMA-4 standard.

The RigConnect Self-Aligning Satellite Dish has built-in tilt and GPS position sensors, allowing it to automatically point at the satellite across the coverage area, even when installed at an angle. Closed loop motion control algorithms allow the RigConnect System to automatically re-acquire the satellite when misaligned by accidental contact or severe weather. Automatic deploy and stow cycles are complete in under four minutes.
